Terms of Use

East Hartford Softball, Inc. is a Connecticut nonprofit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity. We run softball clinics, camps, and community events for youth players, staffed by volunteers.

• Only a parent or legal guardian may register a player, and by doing so you confirm that you are that person and have the authority to agree to our waiver and media release on the player’s behalf.
• You agree that the information you enter is accurate and that you will tell us promptly if it changes (especially medical notes and emergency contacts).
• Registration is confirmed when you see the confirmation screen and receive our confirmation email. Capacity, dates, times, and locations can change; we will tell registered families by email and post changes on the site.
• Programs are free unless the program listing says otherwise. Where a fee applies, the listing states the amount and how to pay.
• The participation waiver and photo/media release you agree to during registration are part of these terms.

We may cancel or reschedule a session for weather, field availability, or safety. Rainouts are announced on the site and by email as early as we can. We may ask a player or family member to leave a program for behavior that puts others at risk or is disrespectful to players, coaches, or volunteers.

You agree not to:

• Enter false information or register someone without authority to do so.
• Attempt to access the board’s admin area or another family’s information.
• Use automated tools to submit forms or scrape the site.
• Interfere with the site’s operation or security.

The board’s admin area is for invited board members and helpers only. Their access is personal, may not be shared, and is logged.

Text, photos, logos, and the East Hartford Softball name on this site belong to EHSB or are used with permission. You may share links and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please ask before reusing our photos or logo anywhere else. Photos of players appear only with a signed media release.

Sponsor names and logos are shown with the sponsor’s permission and remain their property. Links to other websites (for example, a race organizer’s sign-up page) are provided for convenience; we do not control those sites.

The site is provided "as is." We do our best to keep schedules and information current but cannot promise the site will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, EHSB, its board, coaches, and volunteers are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits the participation waiver, which addresses risks of playing.

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

We may update these terms; the current version is always posted on the site with its effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.
